Family Times

These pictues were taken a few weeks ago during an impromtu campfire. With everyone's busy schedules, it doesn't seem like we get the whole family together very often. But it just happened to work out that everyone was available last minute. Good times just relaxing and catching up with everyone. Cullen was already in bed, but here are some photos of the rest of the gang.

Stonybrook Park

We had a wonderful, all American day at Stonybrook Park today. Instead of ordering lunch at the little grille they have, I talked everyone into doing it old school. So we brought charcoal and did the traditonal picnic. It was so nice! Pictured with us above is Shawn's sister Amy and her husband Roger with their kids (Kaitlin and Trey). As well as our former neighbors and dear friends, Rob & Carolyn and their three children (Megan, Bailey and Jack)

The Beach

When it comes to weeknights, I am neither ambitious nor spontaneous. But when you live in Rochester, it is the end of September, and you are blessed with 90 degree day...you take advantage of it! So I picked Alex up this afternoon and we headed home for our swimsuits and bottled water and then it was off to the beach. We had a great time splashing around in the water and enjoying this extra bit of summer! Who knew I had it in me to throw caution to the wind like that.

A nice ending to a great summer...
