The Nursery

I called today to see if STAR had heard anything about our fingerprints. I figured we were only at week 7, but thought it was worth a shot. Much to my delight...I found out that our prints were back within two weeks!!! Which means the ONLY thing we are now waiting for is Shawn's TB testing. God help that man if he doesn't have it done this week...I will be changing the locks and he can sleep in the playhouse.

Thought I would celebrate by posting what we have done so far in the nursery.

How exciting! The nursery looks great. The turnaround time for the fingerprints was really quick. Maybe Shawn didn't feel a strong urge to do the TB testing because he figured he had plenty of time while waiting for the results.

Thanks. And yes, to be fair...I just had mine done last week myself since I thought we were waiting on prints. Guess I should have checked sooner.

I love the nursery so far! And I love the scrapbook page. Did you get the same software as Teri?

Thanks...and yes, you know I had to keep up with the Henicks!

It's really hard to get the hang of it at first though.

One more thing, we just had our finger prints July 3. Do they call you if they come back invalid? Or should I call them to make sure?

Jen- Been looking at gender neutral patterns for awhile. I did everything ahead of time with Alex too and it worked out really well. I had a lot of fun and it helped pass the time. But I know it is super personal. Might drive someone else insane looking at an empty room.

I rarely go with fun and colorful patterns so I thought I would make this nursery more cheery. Alex's was all beige/ivory, so I thought I would change it up a bit.

I think they call if the prints are rejected but not once they come in. So you may want to give them a shout in the near future. I was shocked ours were so quick!
